The Newburyport Education Foundation (NEF) is seeking a member of Newburyport High School to join its Board of Directors. This student must be a rising junior. In addition to having a vote on NEF business, this is also an amazing opportunity for community service hours and college applications/resumes. Most importantly, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on your own school. Responsibilities include:

2-year committment
Attend monthly NEF Board Meetings, typically the 3rd Thursday of the month, at 7:00 PM in the NHS library
Be willing to share your perspective at meetings and feel comfortable expressing opinions with board members that include school administrators, teachers, parents, community members, and business leaders
Help with recruitment of student volunteers when needed
