NHS Investment Club

Students will learn how to analyze market data, the basics of the stock market, money management, and overall investment strategies. They will research how the market works and learn about how to buy stocks and bonds.

Ultimately, students will manage money in a Newburyport Education Foundation account. Investment Club students will create a proposal based on their research, as to how to allocate funds. The proposal will be made to a board of local volunteers. This board (of 3 community members) will approve or deny the proposals of the students and then recommend to the NEF Board how to move or invest funds.
