Teacher Tribute

Bestow a gift in the name of a special teacher, administrator, or staff member in the Newburyport Public Schools. You can recognize a teacher, staff member or administrator’s contribution to your student’s education during Teacher Appreciation Week, the end of the school year—or any time. Your gift will be invested in the school system through the NEF’s current campaign.

You can download a card to give to the teacher you choose to honor with a gift—or you can request that we send a card for you. And you receive a letter acknowledging your tax-deductible gift.

The Newburyport Public Schools administration and faculty have endorsed the Teacher Tribute program and we hope you will consider joining other parents in this effort.

Neighbor Tribute

Make a gift in appreciation of a neighbor or friend. Your gift will be invested in the school system through the NEF’s current campaign. The friend or neighbor you choose to honor receives a thank you card explaining that your family donated funds to the NEF in their honor. And you receive a letter acknowledging your tax-deductible gift!

Make Your Mark: Naming Opportunities

Your gift can be used to name a room or area at the High School—or a seat in the auditorium—in honor or in memory of a teacher, family member, alumni class, or loved one. Planned Giving

Gifts to the NEF offer donors the opportunity to make meaningful and lasting contributions to promote excellence in public education. There are a wide variety of means of making gifts by will as well as living legacies. If you would like more information about the options available to you, please contact us.

Employer Matched Contributions

Many corporations will match charitable gifts made by individual employees. If you are considering a gift, please contact your human resources department to see if a matching donation program is offered. This program is an excellent way to double the level of your generosity.
